We do not require a deposit to sign up on our Dachshund Waiting List.  However, if you would like to reserve your spot in line and get on our Priority Waiting List, you can place a $200 deposit.  Picks are chosen in order deposit is received and start once coat types are determined.  You will have 24 hours to either CHOOSE or PASS on a puppy before the pick is given to the next person in line.  Once the Paid Priority Waiting List has been given a chance to pick a puppy, the General Waiting List will be notified all at once of the Available puppies.  Puppies will then be reserved on a first come first serve basis when the deposit is received.  Once the General Waiting List has been given a chance to pick a puppy, the remaining Available puppies will be advertised Publicly.

The Waiting List Deposit is Refundable until applied to a Puppy.  Once you have chosen a puppy, the Deposit becomes Non-Refundable in all circumstances.

Males and Females have their own ordered pick lists.  Puppies are chosen on a first come first serve basis based on the order deposits are received.  You can choose your puppy based on pictures and videos anytime or in person after 6 weeks of age. For their safety, we prefer to limit our visitors until puppies have had their first shots at 6 weeks old.  Breeder has the option of first pick(s) of the litter at any time of male or female. Litter pick must be made no later than seven (7) weeks of age or pick will be forfeited to the next person. Our puppies come Limited AKC Registration.  Full AKC Registration is available upon request and approval and additional charges may apply.

Limited Registration means that the dog is registered but no litters produced by that dog are eligible for registration. A dog registered with an AKC Limited Registration shall be ineligible to be entered in a breed competition in a licensed or member dog show. It is eligible, however, to be entered in any other licensed or member event. These events include: Obedience, Tracking, Field Trials, Hunt Tests, Herding, and Agility.

Full Registration means that the dog is registered and any litter produced by that dog IS eligible for registration.  A dog registered with an AKC Full Registration is also eligible to be entered in a breed competition in a licensed or member dog show as well as all other events.

IF you decide to breed, breeding is a very complicated and serious decision. So many people have decided to breed dogs because of the financial benefits. An ethical breeder does not breed to make income – they breed only the healthiest dogs for the betterment of the breed.

All of our dogs our health tested through Embark Vet for a full panel of over 160 genetic diseases.

In addition to the Embark Vet genetic health testing, our Labrador Retrievers have had their hips and elbows x-rayed by our veterinarian and submitted to OFA.

See individual results through links on our dogs page.

If requested, we can also test puppies for specific tests through GenSol Diagnostics at buyer’s expense.

Our puppies are whelped and raised in our air-controlled whelping facility with inside and outside living quarters. Our facility is equipped with two side-by-side whelping areas that are easy to clean and sanitize, and WiFi cameras in each area to check on moms and puppies when needed. Our moms are able to access the outside runs through doggy doors and eventually the puppies learn to use the doggy doors as they get older.  We litter box train our puppies starting at 4 weeks of age to build the foundation of potty training.  The combination of litter box training and use of doggy doors gives puppies a great head start to potty training.
